Michael Creamer is Board Certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with a sub-specialty certificate in Spinal Cord Injury Medicine and Pain Management. Dr. Creamer earned his Doctor of Osteopathy from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1983, and completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Northwestern University. The goal of a physiatrist (a physician who specializes in physical medicine and rehabilitation) is to maximize function by relieving pain and minimizing the social, psychological and vocational effects that may accompany physical impairments.
